Lost’s new hair

influence_exterior.jpglost_lucy_hair_1.jpgHave you been over to see the new hair designs at the “Influence” store on Naughty island? Lost Thereian’s new hair creations are so superlative and amazing — I wish he would package them into big bundle packs, because buying the singleton versions is making me so poor. Three brand new, in a brand new store with the coolest looking mermaid perched over the entrance facing the void ocean. I don’t know if that’s some kind of subliminal siren call to come and shop; if so it was a smashing success in my case.

Not that I begrudge a single Linden I spent to buy these hairs. They are incredible, every one of them, even super long Lucy which is only available in “black pearl,” probably due to unreasonable alpha flicker in the other textures and shades which Lost has created. I normally don’t buy black hair textures as my first choice, but after wearing the demo, I just couldn’t help myself — I had to have at least one of each of these new designs, even if it only comes in black.

And I’ve been wearing them ever since — lately it’s Simple Gurl in spiced bronze, one of the most realistic looking cinnamon-y redhead hair textures I’ve seen in all of Second Life.

  3. Hey Cel:D! Im happy to see you like my creations.. thanks for blogging this, I appreciate it! about Lucy: yeah the whole alpha overlapping thing is a constant battle for me when working with .tga textures.. I’ll try to make a long hair in all 14 colors next time I do long hair; one that doesn’t overlap so much. Everything else — besides Lucy and Cassie — are available in the 14 colors though (if anyone was wondering). :)

  4. i had fun in the hair shop, bought a few, totally different look for me, but with a few minor adjustments, they fit even my weird head… says fits head size, like 60- something, mine is 23. but they worked!

    unfortunately with the lag issues, i bought the wrong blonde color! :( but very cool stuff and looks good! yay!

  5. Hey Cel, any idea where they sell cool hair for rockabilly chicks? Im after a do like the singer of Horrorpos has - in every shade of course :)
    So far Ive only found suitable styles at Kin Keiko plus a modifiable thing at Gurl 6 that I have worked on myself. But I’d pay GOOD LINDENS for a selection of limited edition customized hair if anyones into that sorta thing…
