Update: FYI for sellers & shoppers: new inventory bug
By Choice Sliter | October 18, 2006
Update [CS]: The bug appears to have been fixed. From the Offical Linden Blog:
The bug causing the occasional missing inventory on re-log has been located and corrected. All new purchases will work as expected. All inventory purchased since 2006-10-11 and before 2006-10-17 18:00 SLT is being returned to the Lost & Found folder in your inventory.
Full story here.
From the Official Linden Blog:
A bug has been noted where purchased items sometimes disappear from inventory on the next log-in. It looks like this happens if the object has not been rezzed before logging out. We’ve been investigating the problem, but the repro is inconsistent, so it would appear that only some scripted vendor objects are affected. If you have had this problem, please file a bug report and include the vendor box UUID and location so we can test it.
It looks like if you move the item out of your objects folder, then relog, the item will remain in your inventory. I know this is inconvenient, but it will at least save your objects until we get the bug fixed.
All I know. Just reporting here in case you do not follow the Linden blog. You can keep updated on this issue by subscribing to this feed.

This thread was started on this last week. It’s silly how slow lindens are. I hope they fix it.
