ETD, bangin’ with 10 new releases

About the releases
Elika Tiramisu released 10 new hair styles today, including some much requested bangs packs. Elika consistently delivers fabulous hair styles, and this week was no exception. May favorite of the new releases is Shrug II. It has a cute, color-changeable beret, and a messy attitude. All of the new releases are pictured, left. Raving Fans
About 30 minutes before the new releases were unveiled a panicked customer IM’d the ETD Update Group, questioning why she was unable to find the store in Search. At which point Elika responded that new hairs were beinng loaded and the sim would be opened shortly. Several giddy customers expressed their excitement in IM. While others proceded to camp out in front of Nyte ‘N Day, just so they could rush over to ETD the second the new hairs were available.Now this would be an expected reaction for a contest or a one-time only super sale; but this was unbridled enthusiasm from every day customers. I TP’d to the store within seconds of receiving the new product announcement via the update group. The sim was already swamped with more than 35 hair-hungry vixens.
Their enthusiasm reminded me of Mac zealots (me being one of them), who camp out for days waiting for the opening of the next Apple Store. This was a new release, just like any other release. But to these ETD customers, it was a moment to be shared and savored. There was a palpable thirst amongst these customers. They simply had to be the first ones to buy these hairstyles.
There is much to be said about the marketing power of having one’s customers become raving fans. You simply can’t create that kind of reaction in people. It has to be earned.

Heh Raving Fans. Nobody matches the raw fervor of ETD fans, not even Dazzle-ians It’s the best hair in SL dontcha know. There’s people shopping there 24/7. Everybody shops at ETD: fashionistas, preps, geeks, nekos, dancers. When a newbie asks me where to get hair, what’s the first place out of my virtual mouth: ETD. I’m not kidding.
I heart ETD.

And once again she demonstrates how she has earned those raving fans. I have tried several other retro styles in search of my inner Billie Holiday, and I have yet to find one that I felt made me look great (and not just okay). This cropped, curly ‘do is just adorable. It’s chic, it’s retro, and it has that strength that somehow emerges when a woman is willing to chop it all off. I love this new release. It’s shown here in Mahogany. [...]
