Designers: Help Us Keep Track of You
By Choice Sliter | October 24, 2006
Bump [CS]: A bump of an old post. Just a reminder to to those who may have missed it, and those whom have added blogs since the original post. Please help us keep track of you by turning on syndication.
I love to know what you’re doing. One of the ways I keep track is by visiting the New Products forums. The other way is by reading your blog postings. However, visiting 100 blogs in a day just to see if there are updates is no easy feat (not to mention a huge time-sucker). For that reason, I use a news reader to crawl blogs I’ve subscribed to and it automatically updates me on what’s new. There’s only one problem: many of you do not have syndication turned on. Meaning, it’s really hard to keep track of your new posts.
I have found that 90% of the blogs that do not have syndication turned on are Blogger accounts, which probably indicates that this lovely software has a usability problem and hasn’t made setting up syndication as easy as it should be. I did a little googling and found a little link that may help you get syndication turned on is you use Blogger.
If you have switched syndication on after reading this post, please feel free to leave me a comment or send an IM so I can update my newsreader with your feed. Because I want to know what you’re up to. I just need a little help.

Posted by: Sensual Casanova on September 20th, 2006 at 2:27 pmHiya,
Sorry if this isnt the right place to tell you this, but *someone* has to speak up about the amazing stuff going on over at Boneflower on Temenos Island….Zoe Llewelyn has sneaked out a new “thrift store” option offering 10 quality mix’n'match outfits at 600L for all of them. Great value for anyone who loves inventive and cute bohemian funk.
This stuff is really unique and just about the best fashion bargain I’ve ever come across in SL. Felt like I’d discovered hidden treasure when I saw it.
She’s also released the best boots ever…big muddy, loose laced working boots. Someone should give the girl some major kudos!!
Posted by: Jo Earp on September 20th, 2006 at 5:06 pmHi Jo–
Was at Tememos Island today and plan a return trip. I’ll be reporting about why I was there and what I found in just a little bit. Stay tuned.
And, yes, feel free to drop us a comment or send us an e-mail any time you’d like us to check something out. It’s not a baruntee that we’ll report on it, but we will ALWAYS go have a look.
Posted by: Choice Sliter on September 20th, 2006 at 5:14 pmI hope I set that up right! *crosses fingers* It seems like blogspot automagically adds an Atom link for you, but I added an RSS one too.
