Week in Review 09.23.06: Jeans

I’m going to experiment with doing a weekly round-up of sorts that I will post each weekend. This first one will focus on jeans, which will probably be a frequent theme as we can never get a enough jeans and new ones come out all the time. But the weekend round-up may consist of shoes, or hair, or some other theme that I saw repeated throughout the week.

Ko Industries: Art Jeans
Artemis Fate brings us six jeans with line art designed to coordinate with her tee shirt release. Jeans are low rise and rugged, with an urban art appeal. elka Lehane offers a nice rundown on them, here. View designer’s ad.
Little Rebel Designs: Cuffed Patch Jeans
These jeans have a rockabilly flair and were reviewed by Celebrity on Monday. They are offered in four washes–Burn, Grey, Oily & True Blue–and coordinate with the Trouble workshirt of the same release. The jeans have a cute 8-ball patch and are nicely detailed.

Threads by Chlo: Antique Jeans
This is the first of three jeans released by Cloris Hathor this week. These jeans come in two washes
and are adorned with a pretty, chain belt. The highlighting and burnishing give these jeans a soft and feminine appearance. View designer’s ad.
Liquid Velvet Studios: Naughty Gurl Ripped Jeans
These are faded jeans with rips and shreds that one might expect to have if they been rubbing up against a pole or grinding away on a hard surface (!). For some reason she modeled these while wearing a tail attachment, which takes it from naughty to…umm…bestial? View designer’s ad.
Threads by Chlo: Orange Stitch and Tagged Jeans
The second jeans release by Chloris Hathor this week reintroduced the Antique jeans and showcased two other unique and beautiful pairs. Arbel Vogel reviews the jeans here. Like the other Jeans, these have a beautiful, burnished texture and the same feminine dewiness. Two are belted, while one is left clean and unadorned. View designer’s ad.
Simone! Design: Hand Painted Jeans
These are a dark wash jean brought to us by Simone Stern. Like the Naughty Gurl Jeans, these have ripping and shredding. However the shredding stays on the thighs and doesn’t reveal whether or not you’re wearing panties. So if you like your jeans to have a worn in look, these are another option for you. Rebel Hope Designs: Romance Casuals
The Romance Jeans are the companion piece to the Romance Bustiers that I reviewed on Friday. The jeans come in choice of black or blue. They are dark, simple, skinny jeans with a mid-rise. These are a classic jean style and will work on some shapes better than others. View designer’s ad.

LoL the “reason” for the tail is that that’s how I run around cat ears and tail and being that it was 3am in the moring I forgot to remove them for the picture ;)
