Shimmer Silk by DeGroot

I guess the more you wear them, the more you like them — silks I mean. Here’s an absolutely gorgeous silk created by Sherona DeGroot of Innovations. The name of the creation is “Shimmer” — and that’s so clearly what it does. The layer of iridescence on this creation is really fun to watch sway in world and the jeweled accents are so ornate and intricate, I felt like a walking piece of gilt roccoco architecture. (What would Ruskin say? Quelle horror!) Shimmer is available in many different colors, but honestly I think this white one is so visually arresting in contrast and details that it’s certainly my favorite.
