Nouveau Earrings by Miriel Enfield

Miriel Enfield released an incredible set of art nouveau style earrings in the midst of remodelling her store in Nusambaruku — according to today’s blog post, no-border posters won — much like the ad for the earrings seen left. I wish I could’ve blogged about these earrings sooner, but better late than never, I suppose.
Anyway, these are very highly detailed and they look so fabulous with formal wear — really playful and inventive. Several people asked where I got them or who made them, which is always flattering — it’s nice to have your personal style validated, especially when the jewelry is so sweet like this.

I’m not a jewelry person, not having the “gene” to become addicted to virtual jewelry I’m like Sabrina, about all I usually think is: “shiny! pretty!”, but I do like those.

One thing I noticed is that they were really big on brooches at that time.
