Bump: Totally Stunning Cherish by Blaze

By Celebrity Trollop | September 6, 2006

CherishpostersSnapshot_002_5Bump: Finally got the gown last night, and I wore it to the re-opening of Whisker Ophelia’s art gallery! Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy looking at original art works. There’s photography within and without Second Life, digital reproductions of canvas paintings and more.

In this photo: skin: Earthy (star) by Ginny Talamasca and Lo Jacobs, Crushed; hair: Frisky by Elika Tiramisu, ETD; jewelry: Ghamina (gold/ruby) by Jackal Ennui, Lassitude & Ennui; tattoos: Henna by Tuli Asturias, Lollypop; gown: Cherish (gold) by Blaze Columbia, Blaze; shoes: Classic Pumps (gold) by Sylfie Minogue, Sylfie’s Prim Seduction

Browsing through all of the designer blogs in my agreggator this morning, Blaze’s newest release a stunning gown named Cherish forced me into the proverbial double-take, as in “Wha the— OMG, that’s so gorgeous!”

Blaze writes on his blog:

My labor of love over the weekend was creating this gown for a special person. And I”m proud to offer these colors, today, available in my main store.

Memo to self: Become one of Blaze’s special people!! (Hehe) I haven’t seen it in world yet — but make no mistake — I will travel a TP bee line to Triumph to get one just as soon as I can! As he notes on the product page:

Everything from the lace edging on the hemline to the shadows underneath the criss cross strapped have been attended to in this fine tailored gown.

The lace consists of over 500 pieces that were hard drawn and custom placed. Details are found everywhere, including the alternate pantie bottoms and lace stockings.

With a flexi prim design different than any gown I’ve done (or seen), the sheer skirting gives an angelic feel to the gown and flows like you would expect lace to flow.

The slideshow of images for this gown are really fantastic. The lingerie options alone would command a premium, but Blaze priced a single color (which includes a matching men’s vest!) for L$1,000 and the 6-pack at 50% discount of L$3,000. While black is certainly a classic option, I think my favorite color in this release is the gold metallic. I was sitting here writing this post, thinking, “Yeah, I have the perfect shoes and hair for this gown already!!”
