Sol Columbia slipped me a copy of her latest creation Metro last night — and she gave me a tiny bit of prompting — “”You have to try this jacket on.” Yep, she’s right — I tried on the jacket and it’s definitely the best part of this ensemble — that’s not to say I don’t enjoy wearing the jacket with the included top, but the jacket is really wonderfully constructed, if not as ornate as the blazer she made for the Solaera’s Girls School outfit. For example, join me in admiring the shading on the buttons, the “true to real life” seam down the back, the fabric texture, and the really lovely length of the garment — all of these things add to its appeal tremendously.
Last night, I wore the jacket from Metro with everything from a super lacy Nymphetamine camisole to one of Mischief’s cute casual tops — it even looked fantastic with the “dare to bare” birthday suit, tattoos and a smile look. Check it out at Luminosity in Igbo.

Personally, I’m in love with the whole outfit, but long term I know I’ll still be wearing the blazer mixed with other pieces when I move to different skirts and tops as well.
