New Designer: Sol Columbia

I am so happy that Sol Columbia’s new fashion line Luminosity has taken flight so quickly. You might know that Sol is a well known and talented LSL scripter — she’s made everything from a prim texture toaster to the color changing scripts which show up in so many other products. And just a few days ago, she was unpacking her WACOM tablet and experimenting with some initial clothing designs. Her progress has been rapid, but not surprising. I do wish though, that I had a before and after sequence to show off; her journey from the beginning to where she is now would be that much more dramatic and impressive.
Sol’s very latest creation is Dragon which comes in two bold colorful silk brocades: forest and fire. She has been using a combination of tablet, texture and a suite of image manipulation software — along with design tips and advice from an all-star array of well known established content creators.
I had planned to post the top snapshot yesterday, but since my blog seems to be the All Sol Columbia show lately (:D) I decided to hold off. But once Sol released Dragon, I decided to make a two-fer post. My snapshot on top, and her ad on the bottom. You can shop Sol’s new store Luminosity on Igbo.

BTW, for anyone reading these comments, they should know that Celebrity is actually responsible for Luminosity. Yes, she’s the culprit! A couple of us were standing around gawking at Nyte and Elika’s new builds in progress several weeks ago and I tossed out the idea that I was considering designing. I muttered something like “What would be a good store name?” and like 0.2 seconds later Celeb blurts out “Luminosity.” And, well, here we are =P
I’m having a lot of fun and I get so giddy when anyone picks something the store. Lur’s somewhere rolling her eyes, I just know it, lol.
