Free Dove

Blog_freedove1No, I haven’t been under a prim rock, but I had forgotten to write about Free Dove — a collection of low cost and free items by top Second Life designers for newer residents. In the past, I’ve written a lot about the GNUbie Store in Indigo, so when I saw this post on Alaska Metropolitan’s blog, I had one of those forehead-smacking moments thinking, “I totally should’ve remembered!” At least remembered before now. That’s Alaska wearing some of the items at Free Dove including her own free shape and skin, a top by Estrella Fauna, jeans by Sensual Casanova, and shoes by Steve Hansen. The list of items that Alaska herself has contributed is long (click the link above to read all of it), but many other well known designers have made some really nice looking items available.

I am a world class SL shopper, but I do so love finding (and sharing) bargains with readers, especially newer residents. So I feel a pang of shame, but offer this SLurl to Free Dove in Gallii as pennance. Go forth and get some good quality goodies on the cheap!

  3. The free dove rocks. I still haven’t sorted through all the stuff I got from there. There’s cute tops, a ball gown (which is quite lovely), lingerie, skins, shapes, gizmos, jewelry, shoes, (those hansen sneakers are cute and they bling!) I think there’s hair in there too For fashionista purposes it beats the Gnubie store hands down.

    The OPIUM shape you can get there “centerfold” (and elsewhere) is my favorite shape ever.

I love to help newbies and don’t mind sharing my prims to bring this location to promote and help new designers and advertise those long time established ones.
