Chanel Milan
By Celebrity Trollop | August 1, 2006
A good ad goes a long way for marketing your clothes in Second Life, and this ad is a beauty — just look at the drop shadows in the background. But enough about ad asthetics — let’s talk about the clothes.
Who can resist an outfit which defies expectations? Milan falls into that category. From the front, the jacket looks very sartorially serious, almost martial with the steel clasps, especially with the extension piece to hide the tummy. But from the back, it’s a total shock with the leather straps dipping and swerving across the shoulder blades and the back. The strap detail is echoed on the cuffs of the pants too, adding to the pleasant disruption of symmetry — it redefines the whole look giving it a strong edginess. It’s the kind of outfit I expect to see on one of those weaselly scheming prime-time soap queen bishes like, for example, first-season Julie Cooper from The O.C. Find it at DE Designs Island.
