340 eye designs and one fashionista
By Celebrity Trollop | August 2, 2006
Bleed Designs sim is home to the eponymous store owned by Dismay Wilde, joined by a few other vendors (including Munchflower Zaius and Paige Burrel.) Although the sim features an enormous castle as its main store structure, the in-sim music feed is upbeat trance electronica — all thanks to Dismay’s RL husband, a trance DJ. “I listen to it all the time now,” she confided in me. I hope that revelation doesn’t hurt Dismay’s gothic credibility with her customers.
Since I am — at best — a goth wannabe, I asked Dismay to show me some of her favorite creations which I am modelling to the left. In particular, Dismay has made over 340 different pairs of eyes in virtually every shade imaginable. The pair I’m wearing in the photo is named “Demonic Light.” These are pupilless white with a translucent sheen of crimson — very creepy. Eyes like these go for just L$20 — and Dismay has created some packages organized by color where you can save even more per pair.
The clothing is also very reasonably priced. I found one really cute “normal” outfit — a pink and black flexiskirt and matching top for just L$30. If you’re willing to spend a little more, look into Dismay’s line of flexi ribbon dresses which come in an array of colors. There are other outfits as well — accessories, even an entire garden shed prefab, although I can’t imagine seeing healthy gardens in a sim like Transylvania anyway.
