What happened to Forbidden?

Iris Ophelia posted a nice follow up at PXP to a question I posed to her on Saturday: What happened to Forbidden? Remember them? I sent Dnel DaSilva (our RFL auction model) to buy some of their sweet flats for a photo shoot. She’s the one who said, “I can’t find Forbidden!” So I definitely had it in mind to find out what happened. Adri Spengler, one of the co-owners/co-creators wrote in the comments at PXP:
FORBIDDEN has been bought out and will be ran under diffrent managament. Zahara [ed. Adri's co-creator/co-owner] has completley decided to leave SL, I however will be staying and see where it takes me. I hope to return to designing one day and hopefully will. We both apreicate your kind comments, it makes us feel very happy. If I return to design one day I will make it a public announcement, definitely under a new store name, possibly under a new character.
I’m glad the inventory will carry on, because honestly I LOVE the shoes there! But, still, sad that SL drama claimed a promising designer duo.
