Taliah Talamasca’s fantastic creations

By Celebrity Trollop | July 5, 2006

TaliahFlapperI feel sort of awful about this — but I’ve known about Taliah Talamasca for at least three months and I never posted anything about her until now. Tuli Asturias “found” her first — and she excitedly teleported me over — and with good reason. Sadly, sloth is a deadly sin nonetheless. But here — finally — Taliah is promoting herself in the forums with the vintage Victorian costume shown above, and the amazing 30s design shown on the bottom.

Taliah has incredible attention to detail and the best vintage outfit accessories I’ve seen in world. Her Victorian book and antimated lorgnon are just sooo perfectly executed, and the outfits themselves are impeccable. If you have a hankering for authentic and meticulously researched historical costuming, this Wardrobetrunk is the first place I’d think to send you. Aside from these recent stunners, I know Taliah has also worked on a perfectly animated Victorian period parasol (just the thing for your evening stroll through a park), and at least two more Victorian era designs. Take a look at Taliah Talamasca’s work at CTM Industries on Gealain.

  1. Woo! Thanks for posting this! I saw that dress and it totally floored me. More attention needs to be paid to people doing historical costuming. ^^
