Major shopping accident at Elephant Outfitters

I already admitted (somewhat sheepishly) that I came (fashionably?) late to the Elephant Outfitter party. Three nights ago I had a wee shopping accident (cough, cough) as I made my first trip to Elephant Outfitters in Maroon. (Now with bonus Le Unoriginal Couture handdrawn yummies next door!) I also got to meet the vivacious Armani Casanova (who is now hosting a HALF OFF SALE on her accessories — belts, jewelry, prim skirts and more!)
The store build is gorgeous, very classic old world with lots of dark wood panelling and stately furniture. But it’s also open and well lit — easy to move your camera to look at things in detail if you choose. I kept buying and buying. There were so many lovely cute things on offer. I put together the outfit above in about 5 minutes. It’s really mix-n-match heaven with new items coming out frequently. If you want to look real-world stylish and keep up with real world fashion trends, Elephant Outfitters is the place to shop.
My favorite touch about my EO outfit in the photo? The awesome wide waist belt. Normally I can’t get prim belts to fit right (I’m either too hippy or too narrow waisted) but this one just worked perfectly. This is just one of probably 5 different outfits I could’ve put together with my purchases — different colors, different tops, capris instead of a skirt. So many options. So I’ve made my first visit — and it definitely won’t be my last. If you haven’t gone there yet, put it at the top of your to-do list next time you’re in world.
