Flexi fabulous at Nyte ‘n’ Day

Before SL was having some database hiccups last night, I got to watch Nyte working on the flexi-dress design while I proceeded to natter on about all sorts of extremely nerdy web application details. Although I did learn a piece of Nyte gossip: she’s just gotten a tablet. Impressive to think that 100% of my vast Nyte n Day inventory was all drawn with a mouse. Anyway, while I geeked out about databases, UUIDs and parsers, Nyte serenely worked on her design — let’s face truth: fashion is a lot more fun. The dress ad is another case where I think it doesn’t really capture all of the hard work Nyte put into giving the fabric that realistic sheen and shimmer. But it really does have a very lusterous satiny look from the ribbon to the slinky inky black base. And switching gears a bit, Nyte finished up this ultra casual, super cute athletic styled track suit with color matching laces and button eyelets which is a really nice splash of color against the sharp white fabric.
