Shagness II and the best cords ever

By Celebrity Trollop | June 5, 2006

ShagnessiiBeadedElika Tiramisu made her usual set of drops over the weekend while I was away, and I’m so excited to mention my two very favorite things (well, to be fair — I love all of the newness, just these are in my “star-star-star” folder so it goes at the top of my inventory. :D) that Elika made. I got a little tiny sneaky-peek on Friday morning just before I left town (no time to blog about it — but I knew I’d have to mention it when I got home.)

First is “Shagness II,” which I spotted over at PXP on a photo Willow put up wearing Simone’s super cute, casual Day Out release. (See — no one can ever persuade me that being Elika’s model isn’t a sweet sweet gig! :D) The bangs in the face with that touch of transparency is so sexy and intriguing — it looks messy casual, but still sultry glam — kind of Debbie Harry meets Madonna.

Along with the new hair was a new set of clothing — and I swear, these cords Elika made for her beaded top are so fabulous. I wear them all the time (except when I’m pretending to be a vampire. Do vampires shop at GAP? Attention, Hammy: I think there’s a New World Notes dispatch in there somewhere) with the beaded top as Elika suggested (the top itself is great) but also with all sorts of other clothing, including a ton of Ginny Talamasca’s recent babydoll designs. I tried on about 5 different variations of Dazzle babydoll (such as Kendall or Willow or Gia) + ETD cords — all of them were pretty great together.

All of ETD’s items are available on Couture Island. (You can also check the ads out on the web at Elika’s website.)

  1. I think my favorite ETD hair of this set would have to be Elated. It’s just so fun. It’s grown-up pigtails that can be really sexy or playful depending on which outfit I pair it with.
