New ETD releases

By Celebrity Trollop | June 12, 2006

RosyadPeppyadSaturday brought a wealth of new releases by Elika Tiramisu, including five new hairstyles and three new outfits. I saw Peppy on Willow when I recruited her to do a photo shoot Saturday and it looks right at home on a formal as it did on something a bit more casual and flirty. After we were done taking pictures, Willow put it back on, so I can tell that she’s really a big fan of it — and I am too. It’s a gorgeous look — no flexi prims here either — but maybe I just am feeling a tiny bit of flexiprim hair backlash. Rosy was a style that Elika was kind enough to gift me (I think because she knows my secret weakness for all things hair flowers! :D) — as I commented to her at the time, “You have a ‘bangs across the face’ thing going on lately!” Elika wrote in her Couture Isle blog:

Recently I finished my fringe alpha texture….it was a project that I was planning to slowly do, but with the recent flexihair thing I had to rush it cause my current alpha texture didn’t look right with it. So, I rushed and got all 70 done and uploaded and now I find myself using it more, trying to plug it into bangs and such…..so that’s a trend you’ll find in a lot of my hair now.

Yep. And it looks fabulous too. Rosy is a great chignon style which really gets a lot of flair from the delicate rose flower pins. (The command to change the flower color — which I was not smart enough to figure out! (D’oh!) — is /1 flower <name-of-color>). Also released was Mignonne II, a longer version of the original, and June, an exclusive VIP hair.

Elika also released three new outfits, including a flexi-dress named “Lovely!”, a lounger set named “Comfy,” and a really cute skirt outfit named “Casual Chic.” My favorite detail about Casual Chic is the ribbon around the waist. You can see all of the new releases at Couture Isle, or ad textures online at elikatiramisu.com.
