My, what sharp pointy teeth you have…
By Celebrity Trollop | June 5, 2006
It’s great to be back! Thanks to Heather Dawn Cohen for filling in while I was away.
Right before I left I put in an order with Sylfie Minogue for a pair of her phenominal “Hottie” 100% prim thigh high boots — prims give you an unprecidented amount of control over the “physical” detail and 3d-ness to boots (things that shoe textures — though pretty never can give you.) The drawback is that fitting prims to *your* specific avatar can be a real chore — not to mention that in a boot there’s an expectation that the boot itself will move “correctly” when your avatar sits, kneels or stands. Well, that’s swell Celebrity — what’s up with that picture? OK — I’m getting to it. Patience, grasshopper.

I was generally running around organizing my inventory, collecting and organizing outfits, models and photographers for a couple of photoshoots to finish up the June SecondStyle (yeah — sorry about the delay; RL happens… :/)
When I picked these boots up from Sylfie last night, I instantly thought “trenchcoat and panties” would be the ideal way to showcase these boots in all of their leather domme glory. I came up with the outfit you see pictured left: the incredible new Horizon skin by Maximillion Grant (Deep Red makeup), Six Kennedy’s Shiver 2.0 in black, the superb martial uniform inspired Trenchant (with gothi-rose detailing) by hyasynth Tiramisu, and a pair of super bad girl laced up leather knickers by Shep Korvin. Plus Sylfie’s amazing boots. All I needed now was a story and a setting — and a victim. Happily all three were provided by my talented photographer friend Lana Miranda.
I teleported Lana over to show her my trash-i-fab goth bad girl look and she says, almost right away, “Ever been to Transylvania?” Well, no I never had been. Until last night. Wow — what an amazing build it is. I know it’s cliche — “When in Rome…” but being with all that incredibly textured gothic splendor — how could I help but sprout a pair of fangs and look around for a little something to nibble on? With the new local lighting options in 1.10, midnight is now the absolute most fun time to take pictures in Second Life. Even if you’re a vampiress in need of a little midnight snack.
