Wow! Miao and Pixies, an awesome combination

I am hopelessly, helplessly addicted to skins, and this weekend was just one delight after another. Let me start with this superlative combination from Canimal. On Friday, she released the “Miao” makeup pack with cats eyes’ embellished makeup looks. And then to my intense delight, came the Saturday release of Canimal’s latest jaw dropping body graffiti titled “Pixies.” Bam! There’s L$3000 well spent on Sunday morning for a Miao skin pack imprinted with Pixies.
(A small word of caution, here. Don’t be an idiot — like me — and buy the wrong skin pack if you want Pixies impressed on it. To get the tattoos on a set of skins, buy the Custom pack which comes with a Notecard and Voucher, not the regular skin pack. D’oh!)
I spent most of Sunday walking around SL in a bikini just so I could keep staring at that amazing back tattoo art. I’ve written about Canimal’s Suicide Girls body grafiiti too, and Pixies is is every bit its equal in terms of brilliant color, dynamic elements in this artwork itself and just general WOW factor. There’s a different vibe with Pixies than the Suicide Girls tattoos. When I wear the SG skin, I feel sorta “Rocker Girl” and Wild Child. When I put on Pixies, I feel a little more gurly girl and impish. The tattoo set itself comes as a pack of transparent clothing, if you’d prefer to wear it that way with another skin, or you don’t want to spend the Lindens on a whole skin set.
Before I get too carried away with just the tattoos I also have to say a few words about the Miao skin itself. I have about 35-40 skins now (yes, I am really a skin addict — the ones I don’t own I’ve almost certainly demoed), and all of the Fetish skins I own are among the very best in terms of shading depth, musculature, and the general contouring of the back, the tushie, the tummy, the elbows and knees. And while I love the bold red lips of makeup 1, makeups 3 and 4 are so spring perfect with the soft pastels and whites that I’ve been wearing that I find myself slipping into those more commonly with various outfits.
