Update: What happened to Couture Isle?

Update 2: Elika writes in her blog:
Nyte’s been known to say that she’s no builder, but her texturing expertise is what makes the build amazing. The details like shadows, highlights, and color is what makes the build what it is. My hats off to her, because I would have never ever been able to accomplish that. We make a great team…and this building evolution proved that. Yay!!
And although the sim was still having some hiccups last night, hopefully things have calmed down today.
Update: Couture Isle has reopened — but had some issues as it came online. The new build is really open with lots of glass and skylights all over the place. Elika described it to me as “GAP meets IKEA” with a side of Nyte and Elika’s funky personal style too.
Also, there’s a basement now where Nyte and Elika have stashed some of their older designs at a discount. Hopefully things will migrate to the discount basement instead of being discontinued as they were before. Head on over and enjoy the new look of Couture Isle!
If you don’t live in a cave, you’ve probably noticed that Couture Isle has temporarily disappeared from the Second Life grid. What happened?! Earthquake? Swallowed by the Loch Ness Monster? Abducted by space aliens? None of the above! Nyte Caligari writes in this forum post:
