Swimsuit roundup

By Celebrity Trollop | April 9, 2006

Bw_retrokiniIt’s been a lot of fun over the past week to see so many new swimsuits come out on the forums. One of my very recent favorites has been this black and white “retrokini” straight out of the 60s. Within Second Life itself, my all time favorite bikini is the white buckled number (you can see a picture of it here) by Mistress Midnight. And since I like that one so much I’m always on the lookout for something from the same era with a different take on its overall look. I think Tuli Asturias has achieved that with this release. Not only did Tuli remix a great — and smokin’ hot — look, but she’s done it in a variety of great retro colors and patterns. Along with this bikini, Forgotten Kitten has five other bikinis now available — three in a more modern design (including a stunning red), and two more in the vintage look. Stop by Tuli’s store in Ear to see them all.

Carribean_flamesDoC Eldritch has 10 new bikinis in three different styles, including the one I bought yesterday, “Flames” in the Carribean line. I love the pattern of course — a somewhat disturbing number of my clothing inventory has flame patterns on it — maybe that’s my inner Harley-Davidson girl peeking out, but what I really dig about this particular series is that they call come with skimpy coverups on the skirt layer. I am a firm believer that sometimes more clothing is sexier than less, so I like having the option to cover up a bit. You can see Flames and its 9 siblings at DE Designs Plaza in Gealain.

Starkissed_babypinkMarina McCann of Star Kissed Studios released a set of six bikinis too, although this particular color, baby pink, was a special request by me. :D I asked for the baby pink because all of the other colors were a little too bold, a little too hot (hue wise, I mean; they are certainly sexy in their own right) for the kind of spring time palette that’s been on my mind lately. I also admit that I just love the combination of black and baby pink together. Like the other bikini’s I’ve featured, these have a really cute booty shorts coverup with color matching piping. Marina’s store has moved! It’s now in Naedam.
