Miss Hair Fair Winners

The Miss Hair Fair contest has been over for almost a week, and yet I haven’t posted anything about it! Bad Celebrity, no biscuit. In this post Starley reveals the answer key and the 5 Hair Queens of Second Life who got all 20 correct! (OMG, no way! Yes, they did.)

Miss Hair Fair 2006

Hair_fairAre you as excited about Hair Fair 2006 as I am? 26 hair designers from across Second Life have teamed up to showcase new designs, hold meet and greets with customers and a few interesting contests, like, for example this thread by Starley Thereian proposing a contest to guess which designer made which identically textured hair:

I will retexture the hairstyles identically. Either in plywood or a solid color. (I have to test which works best). If it is going to be way too hard, I’ll texture them all the same with a basic hair texture. All the hairstyles will then be photographed from the same angle and displayed numerically. Contestants would fill out a notecard guessing which hairstyle was created by which designer. The winner or winners would get the prize. (Assuming multiple contestants tied for first, the pot would be split evenly among them).

At last count, the prize pot was well over L$10,000!
