Beautiful and versatile: Sky from Dazzle

By Celebrity Trollop | April 7, 2006

SkytangerineC’mon Ginny, this is almost unreal. Every morning new pictures of another tasty outfit in my email box from Dazzle. This latest release is Sky, and comes in eight lovely hand painted colors, including tangerine and teal. There are tons of great nitpicky details in this set: sparkling striations in the skirt’s viscose, a ruffled hem, the gauzy weave of the tank, and the ribbon woven through the lace. Look at the shading underneath — it’s just superb work. Ginny writes in her (new) blog:

I wanted to kill Lyra and Phil (my boyfriend), after they both insisted I make separates in a Linden-scripted skirt outfit. HOWEVER, that being said, I think it’s an ingenius idea. The clipping problem of cropping the skirt from the waist creates such a nasty gap - it made a lot of sense to just spend an extra few minutes in MAYA (screams!) and CS2 to fabricate versions of pieces that could be used with other tops and things in peoples’ inventories.

Go buy it at Dazzle in Innamoramento. (I already bought it in aqua — and I’ll be back to get it in azure.)
