Tuli Asturias for Forgotten Kitten

Tuli Asturias announced that she’s started selling a new line of clothing which she describes as "sweet, unusual and funky." The picture comes from a forum post she made advertising "Goth Chic."
It’s not my cup of tea per se, but it looks pretty good, no? You can find her clothes here at House of Blades on Samurai Island. When I dropped by to check out her other pieces, she happened to be right in front of her stall. Here’s a transcript of my impromptu interview.
CT: You’ve been on SL for about 4 months now. When did you decide to start designing clothes?
TA: it’s kinda hard for me to think of clothing that a lot of people like, my taste is a bit weird
TA: I decided to try my hand it when I kept running out of money and not finding the piece of clothing I wanted
CT: LOL
CT: <–constantly out of Lindens.
TA: don’t you hate it when that happens
CT: Yeah! :D
CT: Are there any designers in SL who you feel "influenced" your designs?
TA: hmm…..
CT: Or, another way to look at that is, "Are there any SL designers you admire."
TA: Nephilaine and Sophie
CT: OK. When you’re working on an item, what are the things that you consider important? Or does that vary?
TA: The most important thing is that I like it myself
CT: That’s a very good answer! :D
TA: But I do hope I get some feedback
CT: Sure. Is there a piece that you’re particularly proud of? Or something which you feel is a "signature" Tuli Asturias design?
TA: that’s a toughy…
TA: since I have just started I don’t really know how to answer
TA: I am proud if I get photoshop to do what I want it to do
CT: LOL
TA: I’m learning as I go
TA: I hope to someday compete with the top designers here
CT: That’s cool — very ambitious too. But I honestly think you have some neat stuff.
TA: thank you =)
TA: I try to combine retro with goth a lot
TA: like that retro kitten dress
TA: you’re probably gonna see a lot of lace from me, I love it
CT: Me too!
CT: This Kitten dress is really fun!
TA: I am working on this dress I have on to perfect it a bit and then I think I’m gonna try some lingerie
TA: so far my best selling item is the corset dress
