Before Hours… 
Last week I wore the Seafoam dress version of this top, this week it’s the sweater version. Neatly tucked into these lean, form fitting pants, the delicate dip of the top gives it a slight romantic feel. The hair from TRUTH, swept up to the side, with the strands hanging over one ear, give it a sense of style and comfort. High waist pants are not necessarily my favorite, but Skin Flicks makes them work beautifully. Today I felt like being a pretty girl and dressed it up a bit. I tend to lean more toward casual clothes most of the time, but occasionally I’ll get all dolled up and make an appearance somewhere. Although I’ll admit it’s pretty rare as I tend to be anti-social (don’t judge!). But my dress folder is bulging, so I might as well wear them, right?
Teoni, the new release from Nymphetamine is a wispy gown which looks like it might just slip off and show off your lady bits – except it won’t – YAY! It’s a softly constructed dress that comes in two tones, a carmel color and this hummingbird green.
I love both colors for their depth and gorgeous shading. This dress was a great place to show off the new release of skins from AMACCI – Felicia. I’m wearing natural 09 BLUSH with cleavage (yes, you see the cleavage – right?).
This tone I chose is a bit darker than I normally wear but I like it, especially with this dress.
I’m also wearing EXILE’S Sylvie in PYRE. I can’t believe I never tried this color on before. It’s a load of fun. The eyes are PXL CREATIONS Glow Eyes in FATE.

As we roll this month of romance in we are also falling in love with the all new Second Style Island sim. We are absolutely thrilled with all the hard work the Ambiance team put into rebuilding Le Zoo, so much in fact we’ve reserved some space within the magazine to show it off. Many thanks to Prad Prathivi for sneaking into the sim and snapping some amazing shots to share with our readers!
In keeping with the traditions of romance, this month we are exploring love across the ages with a special photo spread done by James Schwarz. We are happy to have Bleeding Edge back this month as well, and James look at Valentines Past. Clyde Saunders shares with us his color of the month Red, while Ana Lutetia opens our eyes to the designs of anuenue with her Fresh Faces piece.
Tenshi Vielle gives us a look through the content creator’s eyes, and shows you the love, sweat and tears they put into their creations. You will also find an eye catching look at some accessories with Gabby Panacek’s To Top It Off, while Luna Jubilee gives us all JUST what we are looking for to spice up our Valentine’s with a Mini Guide on lingerie.
Rounding things out for the month Brigitte Belgar is ever insightful with all things holiday in this month’s Postcards. And finally we are spicing things up with Vega Arida’s interpretation of The Look of a Spanish Romance.

Sometimes, you just need to stay in, turn up the tunes, and RELAX! Pinning up my hair with TRUTH’s casual look, (each barrette is scripted and can be its own color) throwing on Maitreya’s heels, and looking glam in a t-shirt from Doppelganger is my idea of lounging in STYLE! I think the best accessory for glam right now is the latest designs of prim nails. I’m wearing a set from [MANDALA]TAKARA; it comes with the bracelets and rings as well. The renovations at Second Style Island (formerly Le Zoo) are complete. We are THRILLED with what a wonderful job Ambiance has done.
We are planning to host a grand re-opening on February 12th. The day will be full of gifts to shoppers at the sim and a special 2 hour party with DJ in the evening. We now have an in-world group and hope you join to keep updated. We will periodically be sending out random gifts to members! Just search groups for Second Style Island.

I like mixing the cute, feminine items in my inventory with some of the boyish, more unisex items to create a look with a little more depth than my usual garb. I have been wanting to wear this tutu for a while now, but I couldn’t quite piece together the look I wanted, and I didn’t want to go for the ballerina look. So I gave it another try last night, and I think I finally came up with a look that I love!

It’s coming up, whether you want to hear about it or not, Valentine’s day is just around the corner! Here’s a chance to do it up in style: the day look, the evening glamour, and the late night frills. The holiday does NOT have to be full of reds and pinks (although, this is the prefect opportunity to show them off.) Sometimes I hate my shape in SL. It’s great for blogging, but I have a very tall avatar. And when I’m hanging out with shorter avs, it’s hard not to feel like a giant. It has always seemed peculiar to me that I’m most proportional around men in SL, yet most women have extremely short avs. I was feeling tall and out of place the other day until I put on this new draped sweater and these amazing pants. Then I felt as sexy as could be. It’s amazing to me how some clothing items can be such high quality goods and fit SO well that they perfectly enhance the avatar shape. And these pants do just that.
